It clearly appeared necessary to share the vision which has guided the founders.

Since The cmNOG is in a restructuring process, it’s important to bring together all stakeholders from network engineering in the Cameroonian Internet ecosystem.

Venez Partager vos Idées et Pensées à la Session Dédiée au « Redémarrage du cmNOG » au Cours de la formation CAMIX

     

La formation CAMIX pour les opérateurs du réseau camerounais aura lieu aujourd’hui, 03.04.2017, jusqu’au vendredi 07 avril 2017 à l’hôtel Merina [*] à Yaoundé, au Cameroun. L’organisateur est le chapitre Cameroun d’ISOC …

Les participants sont déjà connus, car la formation technique met particulièrement l’accent sur les bonnes pratiques pour peerer à l’intérieur du CAMIX, notre point d’échange Internet local. Et les places assises ne sont que peu dans la salle de l’événement.

Cependant, il y a de bonnes nouvelles, en raison du processus de redémarrage du cmNOG [1] en cours, il y aura une session libre et ouverte où les bénévoles, les praticiens du réseau et les passionnés d’Internet et de l’ingénierie réseau sont invités à partager leurs pensées et leurs idées autour du sujet et ce sera l’occasion d’en savoir plus sur la meilleur façon d’aider, individuellement, l’initiave « Reboot cmNOG » [2] et de savoir comment tirer le meilleur partie du succès, escompté, de la communauté du cmNOG.

Lors de cette session, nous aurons deux présentations, l’une par Jan le fondateur du, NOG à succès, SiNOG [3] et l’autre par Sylvain, co-fondateur du cmNOG. Enfin, nous aurons une discussion ouverte sur l’avenir de la communauté du cmNOG.

Pour participer à la session du cmNOG, le mardi 04.04.2017 (14:00 – 18:00, heure locale), informez-moi [5] en copiant Janvier le président ISOC.cm [6], avant 12h demain, afin que plus de sièges soient réquisitionnées pour que tous les participants puissent tenir dans la salle de l’événement.

Pour ceux qui sont volontaires pour héberger une sonde dans leur réseau et aider un projet mondial de mesure de l’Internet, notez que nous avons cinq sondes RIPE Atlas pour vous. Venez prendre la vôtre. Nous espérons également trouver un volontaires, parmi les opérateurs de réseaux, qui pourrait aider en hébergeant une Ancre RIPE Atlas. Come Peer Your Mind and Thoughts to the « Reboot cmNOG » Session During CAMIX Training

 

The CAMIX Training for the Cameroonian network operators is taking place today, 03.04.2017, until on friday april 07, 2017 at the Merina Hotel in Yaoundé, Cameroon. The organiser is ISOC Cameroonian Chapter…

The attendees are already known, because the technical training is particularly focusing on how to practically peer inside the CAMIX, our local Internet eXchange Point. And the sitting places are just few in the room of the event.

Meanwhile, there is a good news, because of the cmNOG rebooting process [1] actually on stage, there will be a free and open session where volunteers, network practioners and passionates about Internet and Network Engineering are invited to peer their minds and thoughts on the topic and to learn more about how to help the « Reboot cmNOG » initiave [2] and how to gain from a succesful cmNOG.

At that session, we will have two presentations, one by Jan the founder of the successful SiNOG [3] and the other by Sylvain, cmNOG co-founder. At last we will have an open discussion about the future of the cmNOG’s Community.

 To attend the cmNOG session, on tuesday, 04.04.2017 (02:00 – 06:00 PM, local time), just inform me [5] copying Janvier the ISOC.cm President [6], prior for us to add more sitting places in the room.

 For those who are volunteers to host a probe in their network and help a global Internet Measurement project, note that we have five RIPE Atlas probes for you. Come and take yours.
